Prince William's Cousin Zara Phillips Ties The Knot

Despite being a commoner, Zara still got to wear a tiara and have her wedding reception at a palace.

Is it still a technically a royal wedding if the bride isn't a princess? Prince William's cousin, Zara Phillips, may not officially be an HRH, but as the Queen's eldest granddaughter, she still received a lot of royal perks at her wedding this past weekend to rugby player Mike Tindall. Sure, being a princess sounds good, but there's a downside.

We're happy for princess-to-be Kate Middleton. Really we are. While we could do without the 24-hour news coverage of her dress/diet/ex-boyfriends/previous family homes, who doesn't love a good royal wedding? By all accounts, Prince William and Kate seem like they've thought this through and are ready for their very public walk down the aisle. We'll even admit, we wouldn't mind the tiaras, lady-in-waiting and new Audi-cum-driver that reportedly await Kate. But we're just as happy it's not us. Here's why…

(Or, as it's known in Britain, a "stag" party.) Although the official royal spokesman kept details of the boy's night out under wraps, we do know that William's best man, Prince Harry, threw the shindig, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that there was reportedly a lot of drinking involved.
