I am not a religious writer—far from it—but the first time I saw this verse from the Bible many years ago, I fell in love with it. I had no idea the Bible addressed such subjects.

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails…" 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

If more people thought of love in this way, their lives would be far different. Many subscribe to the song, "What have you done for me lately" instead. Love becomes crippled with that approach.

How would you answer this question?

Love is... when you want him to have what he wants more than you want something for yourself. When you dare to dream for the other person, then you know you're in love.
