I want you to know you're not alone in feeling insecure. I'm 48 and there are still times that I feel that way - especially when I'm faced with a new and/or threatening situation.

Here's a simple (OK you might even think it's weird) way to start feeling better about yourself: 1.) Make a list of at least 10 things you like about yourself. These can be anything AND if you're having trouble coming up with all 10 of them, ask your best friend to help you out. 2.) Read your list out loud to yourself every morning when you wake up and every night before you go to sleep. The key here is that when you read your list that you say it like you really mean it - just like you were telling your best friend what is wonderful about them.

As simple as this is, it really works!
