I need a gift for a 40-year-old man

Published on April 10, 2009 by mango

My husband is turning 40, and I have no idea what to get him. He likes to read, mostly history, but he's particular about what he reads. He works all the time (especialy now--he's an accountant) and he doesn't have many "hobbies." I want the gift to be special, and I'm willing to spend money. Any ideas?

Bookmama's idea is great! Maybe a cruise or time to take a trip that you always wanted but didn't have the time for?! Just be sure the $ spent is not going to be an issue between you! Well, maybe it's time TO START a hobby?! Maybe something you BOTH thought of doing!? That way you can spend some quality bonding time together to boot, possibly learn something new as well?! I say it's the thought that counts! Can you think back of a time when he may have given a clue about something he likes or would like to do?! He'll be blown away that you remembered! That should ad to your gift! =)
