Getting over cheating?

Published on June 2, 2010 by jdazzled

My boyfriend and I have been seeing each other for over a year; but recently decided to make it 'official'. So when we were talking the other day, we were discussing the last time we slept with someone else; previously I told him it was last July, but he never gave an answer. The other day I told him it was actually November; he told me he had been with somebody in January. I am not too upset, since neither of us drew boundries until recently. He seems more concerned about my indescretion than i am about his; he wants details, down to the very nitty gritty. He thinks my screw up is worse then his, but I think we are both equally guilty. We don't want to break up, or drive each other crazy any more, but I am not sure how to make him feel better about the situation. He thinks my 'cheating' is worse because I knew the person, and my friends all know about it; I think his is worse because it was more recently. The odd part is, we've become much closer and more serious since finding this stuff out. I am not sure what to do or how to try to fix the situation.
