Friendship or relationship

Published on February 22, 2013 by sugabutt

So I am involved with someone and he says that we are friends and don't want to put a title on us right now. My question is, if you(he)is spending so much time (which I love) with me and we click so well together and when we are apart for days and you (he) calls 24/7 saying "I miss you so much, can't wait to see you" and we act like boyfriend and girlfriend and we are intimate hardcore, why is it so hard to say we are in a real relationship? and then you (he) say(s) "I love you, you're like a best friend I never had!"

To me it sounds like he has romantic feelings for you, but he wants the best of both the single and the monogamous relationship worlds. It seems like he knows you like him a lot and aren't going anywhere, so, he may feel like he has the power to keep acting like boyfriend and girlfriend with you while still keeping his options open, but I'm sure if you were to find another boy you'd like, he'd freak out! this is exactly what happened between me and my current boyfriend. in the beginning we hung out almost everyday and i said that we were good friends, but we both sort of knew there was something more than just a good friendship developing. then, one night we kissed, but i told him i wasn't looking for anything serious and wanted to keep things casual. eventually though, i realized he was a catch and that if i didn't scoop him up, some other girl would, so i told him that i wanted us to be monogamous. I don't know if this helps, but i hope it does :) good luck!
