Do all men return to their Ex one more time?

Published on June 14, 2009 by heiress

Even though my boyfriend moved on from a woman who turned him down twice, she now says she loves him and it wants to get back together with her? I can't see how it will work? How long do you think it will take him to get hurt again and decide that he wants someone who can commit?

If he left you for his ex then you should NEVER take him back. His ex sounds like a woman who wants what's not hers and will ruin any relationship he gets in. AND if he chose her over you, he's not good enough for you.

No, but women do, and it's usually more like 2-3 times. It's a little differant because here he's being honest with you aboutit whereas women will just lie and cheat and not get caught. Men are more likely to be the perceived asshole in the breakup, so they can't just go back whenever they feel like it. Where as women have vaginas so generally any Ex will take them back anytime.

First, you can't pin it on just men.

Second, the user "hillhuned" is way off. Being a cheater isn't based off gender, it's based off the person.

All I can really say is that maybe he wasn't 100% happy with his relationship with you to just leave you for another woman, regardless if he tried to get with her in the past. Also, he may have always had her on his mind and always wondered "what if?". Or maybe he had been involved with her during your relationship. He is clearly confused and I (personally) wouldn't bother with him when he isn't even sure of himself. You need someone who KNOWS what they want and if something in your relationship is making him unhappy, he should be upfront. And when or if he ends up getting hurt again...it's his own problem - not yours. Don't be there to pick him up when you will end up just being the rebound. When it comes down to it, you'll never really know why ---- so don't waste you time and feelings on trying to find an answer. I know it's easier said than done when feelings are involved, but sometimes it's healthier to just move on and let time heal.

You say your experienced in true love?? How so?
