Dating an Investment Banker

I've been dating an investment banker for about 1.5 months. We had 2 normal, great dates... but then he got assigned to a live deal and was working every night until 2am (including weekends). I wasn't able to see him because of his schedule, so he started texting me when he got out of work at 1-2am. I resisted geting together then for a while for fear of turning a relationship into a booty call, but finally gave in and we hung out twice after work at 1am, finally having sex on the 4th date.

Should it take this much effort?

Hello!
I casually dated someone last summer, after leaving a terrible relationship. He is kind, sincere, funny, and incredibly smart. On paper has all the qualities I wanted for myself. However, I couldn't bring myself to want a serious relationship with him, and it ended awkwardly. After clearing the air and apologizing for how I handled it, we've since become good friends, and this past weekend decided to give the dating each other thing another shot; I feel that I'm in a much better place and ready to get involved with someone.

skeptical but willing

I've been knowing this guy for about 7 months. we work together so i see him every now and again. out of those 7 months we've talked constantly and have went out together twice. He's everything that i could ask for as far as personality, morally and overall he;s just a nice guy and a gentlemen. the problem i have is that i'm not 100% physically attracted to him. I want to give him a chance but i dont know what to do

What does this mean?

My boyfriend (20) of 6 months has told me: "You'll be a great mother one day." and "I believe I'll love you forever." Even though, he has mentioned to me in the beginning of the relationship that he wouldn't want to talk about the future but just to be happy with the present. I'm slightly insecure about it.

Thank you for responding.

between the 2

Long story, I will try to condense it. I was dating someone (guy #1) for about 6 months who moved away (to Europe). We had an intense relationship, great chemistry, and I completely fell for him. I went to visit him overseas and things went amazing. When I returned he couldn't commit to trying to work things out so I moved on. Met someone almost immediately that I thought would be a fling.

How can I help my boyfriend to be more positive about his life and our relationship?

Dear Expert,
I've been in a relationship with my boyfriend for four years now, and even though I still love him a lot, I feel he's not as positive about things as I'd like him to be. He says it's because he's having a hard time at work, and I'd like to be able to support him with it, but instead, he's chosen to not talk about it and not think about it, and it's affecting our relationship: He doesn't want to talk about us, or where we're heading any more, and I really need that now!

Is it really over?

I recently spent the past 5 months reuniting with a very very EX boyfriend. Although we had remained friends after our on again off again relationship of 5 years, he ended up completely cutting me out of his life while I was in college because he had started dating someone new. He did not think it was fair to  his new interest to remain so close with someone that he still had feelings for. So we didnt speak. For 5 years. He maintained a relationship with this woman for five years.

Single Mom- My child and my boyfriend are falling apart :(

I'm a single mom, my daughter is 5 years old. I have been in a relationship for the past year. At first he was very accepting and loving of my child and completely understanding of 'my situation' since he comes from a broken home as well. Lately though, since he's been more and more involved, he is becoming distant and hesitant to be around my child. Says it would be too painful if someday she turns around and uses "you're not my dad" against him when he's invested so much of himself with her. Has this become too much to handle?
