Does a guy lose respect if the girl pays for his movie ticket?
My friend recently went on an unplanned date where she had to pay for her movie ticket as well as the guy's ticket. Does she set herself up to be used everytime she and her "date" go out? What can she do to fix the problem?

If he expects her to pay next time, either he doesn't have any money or he is a really cheap person.
That's not how dating works. Somebody's not going to use you just because you pay for one movie ticket-- or if they do, they were going to use you anyway because that's what type of person they are. Generally what happens when one person pays for the movie tickets is that the other party pays for the tickets next time. Dating doesn't work if both parties aren't willing to be generous with each other.
