What does this mean?

My boyfriend (20) of 6 months has told me: "You'll be a great mother one day." and "I believe I'll love you forever." Even though, he has mentioned to me in the beginning of the relationship that he wouldn't want to talk about the future but just to be happy with the present. I'm slightly insecure about it.

Thank you for responding.

It means nothing. Words are words, actions are what truly matter. He's only 20 years old, I can guarantee you that he isn't anywhere close to really wanting to have kids and settle down anytime soon. He may even claim to love you like no one's business and treat you like a queen, but it's the honeymoon period of your relationship, saying things like that is pretty common. Not trying to be a killjoy, but as a woman nearing 30 who has been around the dating block for over a decade, I know exactly what I'm talking about. Take commentary like that with a grain of salt and just continue on the relationship as normal. You will know he means what he professes the moment he puts a ring on it. Good luck! :
