how do i know he really wants to be with me?
i was just outta a long relationship with my boyfriend of almost two years, when i meet dustin and he was always my best friend and helped me through everything. we kissed and it just worked, and we never were offically goiing out but we would hang out and mess around but not have sex though, it was sweet and cute, and i wanted to start a relationship with him. and he said he was scared of comminment then he changed his mind and said he wanted to be with me, and asked me out through a text message, but i refused unlesshe asked in person, but he never did, and its two weeks now and he is acting more distant, but he still says he loves me and i just am confused. i still love and care about him alot and when were together it just works and feels right.

Have you let him know that you are interested but would like him to officially ask you when you're together? He may have interpreted your reaction as a rejection. If you want to date him, just bring it up the next time you see him. Let him know that you're interested and hope that he'll ask you officially in person. But don't make a big deal out of his text message because he may be embarrassed.
