I have kids he doesn't we are middle aged should i try to make this work
I have 5 kids 4 daughters 1son...so far he doesnt' seem to mind he has not met them...but he is single has made a great living for himself...not sure what he would really see in me that be worth the time yet he still calls and wants to hang out...i'm recently seperated and working on divorce definitly done with my marriage but dont feel I have anything to bring to the table as far as a girlfriend friend or long term relationship....

It sounds like you aren't actually ready to start dating yet. And it's okay if you want to take some time to yourself to finalize your divorce and get your life back together. Why don't you let him know that you really care about him but need some time to yourself to work through some things. Once you're settled you'll be able to date but right now you don't feel you have anything to give back into a relationship.
