Can you get crabs without sexual contact?
I keep on reading " may be spread by close personal contact". What does that mean exactly? It can be spread through contact with articles such as clothing, bed linens or towels that have been used by an infected person. If you have the crabs on your private part, doesn't that mean that you must of used the infected clothing, bed linen or towel on your private part? How close do you have to be to someone in order for you to get the crabs from them? Supposedly they can live for up to 48 hours. Some say you can get them on a public restroom and some say you can't because they don't have legs to hold themselves on to the toilet seat. I am confused and I need to know as soon as possible.

they do live in the all of the above areas you talked about I know I got them creepie basturds off a tree where all the boys were peeing on at a outdoor barbaque. thay do jump i found the best way to rid them is to shave . hope fully they are not on your head . they like warm places . they will live on toilet seats if yyou look at them through a mangnifing glass what type of bug they are .OVer the counter shampoo called A-1 get s rid of them without shaving GOOD LUCK
