Why do you think he keeps coming back???
I have this friend and there's one thing i don't understand I met him online and he is going through a divorce I messed up and had sex with him on the first date and thought i would never see him again. Well we text each other off and on our schedule is rough he will call me and text me that he wants to see me, i don't know how to take it how will i know if its only a sex thing i really like him and think he's a great guy but the idea of me sleeping with him on the first night has me believing that it is a sex thing that's why he keeps calling. How can I tell if that's it?

Simple: ask him. If you're not keen on having a casual sexual relationship with this guy, you need to make your boundaries clear. You could find out that he wants a meaningful relationship or you could find out that he doesn't. Either way, knowing is a much better alternative to guessing as to whether you're just a booty call!
