Date while on a break?
I'm on a break with my boyfriend for a couple weeks now. We haven't really spoken, except for a few texts. He was the one who wanted the break, he needed some time to figure out some stuff and obviously didn't want me there to help. Fine.
My question is, can you date while you're on a break with someone??
Him and I didn't talk about what we can do during this time, nor a timeframe for whenever he figures stuff out... so I am either left to wait for him or just move on and see what happens.
I ask because there is someone interested in me and he knows I'm on a break but we continue to talk and hang out.
All I think about is the Friends episode where Ross sleeps with someone else and Rachel freaks out and he's like - WE WERE ON A BREAK! *lol*

It depends on if you want to have hope of working things out with the person your "taking a break from" I'd say that if you want to work things out then do not go out and date other people. If you both are not really up to dating eachother then why go off and date someone else in the meantime.
If down the road you both are at a point where you are sure you want nothing more to do with eachother, then I'd say that you could move on and date someone else.
Talk to this person your taking a break from. See how they feel about dating other people and then go from there. I think you will learn a lot too from what they have to say. If they say NO WAY, then you know that they are still very serious about wanting to work things out. If they say that it might be a good thing then I'd say you have your overall answer.
