What makes a guy not even try,when you state you need more?
we were together for 3years, he went to jail recently and I stood by him to the fullest,lawyer fees,visits,countless encouraging letters. the whole nine. i have been having financial difficulties as I was fired a week before he got out. He has not helped me whenever I ask it's always no. i noticed he does not have a desire to go out of his way for me as I did him. I have lost everything for him, do I still love him after this no.He calls me when hes drunk to tell me how much he "loves" me. and all I can think of is "how did you purchase that drink" I understand its not his job to give me things. I thought that it would be in a man to provide for the woman he "LOVED" when it's requested of him. i must say I am hurt and have no interest in reconciling, Im disgusted, frankly. i just want to know..Why does he not have that drive to go that extra mile as I did he? Thank Ya

SELFISHNESS! Sweetie there is nothing more to be said about a person like that. Glad to know that you are past that. Try and be more careful on who you give your heart to.
Count your blessings and move on with your life. He's a user and will use the next "love of his life" in the same way. He will tug at your heart strings for awhile, but, cut the ties and move on. Consider the time and money and letters as a lesson in life. Next time you won't be so gullible either. You will stop and think next time and say "NO" to him. Cause next time, you will not have "blinders" on. You will have some expierence in mind. Best of luck to you and if you so choose, let me know how things are going for you.
