I just got out of a long relationship about 3 months ago, and I still love that person but now I like someone else.
I just got out of a long relationship about 3 months ago, and I still love her, and I'm the one who broke up with her, and I did break her heart pretty bad, and she needs space, and I wonder if the reason why I keep wanting her is because its the safe way if I cant find anyone else. Well I just met someone that I do like, and she really likes me too, and I feel horrible that I like someone now. Is this normal? I'm going to be meeting the other girl on the weekend, and I just want to know whats going on, and the best advice I can get. Me and my ex broke up twice, and there are a few differences that I feel that we will never be able to get past. I'm just so confused as to what to do.

i agree test the waters, i know that you love your ex but sometimes meeting a new person is just the thing that you need to do. you will always have a special place in your heart for your ex, but that does not mean that you will not find another girl that you will love the same or more. so u should try it out with this new girl and you never know what could happen. good luck
I don't know your age or maturity, but, you sound like you need to move on with your life if you are seeing someone else. You are beating yourself up for breaking up with your girlfriend, she needs space and you need to see someone else. So, try to see someone else and see what happens. You may want to go back to the girl you broke up with afterall. Test the waters and see what happens.
