80/20 rule...

How many of you believe in the 80/20 rule? And how many of you have experienced it? For those of you that do not know the 80/20 rule it is when you have a partner that does everything they possibly can do for you, love you uncontionally through thick and thin and has always been by your side (80%=everything you want in a lover). Now the 20 comes from a person that may interrupt your relationship making you think they can do everything the 80 does. Well go to find out they don't love you they use you and abuse you. You leave the 80 which gave you everything to be with that measly 20% that could care less aout you.

Same as the grass looking greener on the other side of the fence. Aside form it being the temptation that's inevitable in any relationship, those who actually pursue this should stop and look at everything the 80 has been through them with, as well as everything that the 80 has done for them.

I think it falls under greed. I know guys who have some great women, but they always think that they can do better. The irony in that, to me, is that nobody is perfect. Most of these guys will have some half-baked reason for wanting more, with claims that their 80 doesn't do this, or doesn't do that. Usually, their reasons are petty, and they will run with it to justify their search for this "perfect" woman. Needless to say, it was just a mirage in the desert.

If the grass looks greener on the other side, it's probably artifical turf!
