How to find someone to date when you live in the mountains!

I currently live in a small mountain town where every one is spread out around town. The main religion here are Mormons (LDS) so the guys my age are most likely married. I think most of the people move down to the city when the graduate, then move back when they have kids or to be with their parents. Its also really hard for me to get out and meet people do to living with my grandparents and having a toddler. I feel like Im 30 going on 16.

The problem with my town, it is a town, is that we have no community center, bowling ally, movie theater, and no big shopping center/strip mall. We are lucking we now have a Subway (which opened in 2007), before that we had a Dary Queen. We are still building the new Fire Station (That was started before Subway opened). In the summer I lucking if I can go play Bingo at the local VFW. I have to drive an hour to get to Walmart, after I ask the Grandparents to use the car.

Oh did I mention that I moved here from Las Vegas!

Get involved in a local bowling league or play softball with your company team. Your local community center will offer classes on everything from dancing to cooking. Sign up for a few. Also try the local B&N or library, they have lists of local book clubs you can join to meet up with some people like yourself.

A single mother in a small town can be tough. But before you decide to move to the big city, you want to be careful since grass is always greener on the other side. There maybe activities that you can get involved with where more guys your age hang out. Give that a shot, looks like the bigger constraint that you have is time to spend on yourself...that is where you should start.
