I've been told by a lot of my female friends that it really depends on the scent.. some scents will work with your natural body scents, others against.. It really is a matter of experimenting and figuring it out.

You can usually tell yourself with the typical "apply to wrist, rub, and sniff" test.

Depends on your guy. Some like the natural essence of you, some just need you clean, and others prefer that your every inch of skin is scented. Scent is very stronly tied in to memory. I'm sure you've caught random scents on a breeze that wisk you away to a memory, so think of your scent as your calling card. He'll let you know, advertly or inadvertly, if he likes what you wear. Nuzzling is a good indicator.

My DH hates fake fruity scents, he likes more musky scents. And doesn't care for lip flavors at all.

I wear a variety of different scents, not for my husband / boyfriends, but for me. Every time, no matter what, they will say "Ooh, you smell nice." Regardless of the actual type of scent.

I think it's common amongst both sexes that anything overpowering is not nice.
