I get hints that my best friend wants to be more than friends.

My guy friend who I've been super close with for years is making me think he wants to be more than friends. Like, he's always putting his arm around me when we're out with friends, he doesn't seem to be interested in other girls and he calls me to check in. I don't want to ruin our friendship by making the first move though. What do to?

Don't assume that he's not into other girls just because he doesn't share all of his feelings with you. He may be respecting the relationship by not talking about his conquests but I'm sure he's had a few. If you want to take your relationship to the next level, ask him if there are other girls in the picture first and allow him the opportunity to come clean.
