Dear CNN,
Surely you must remember when gay marriage [1] became legal in California [2]--afterall, you covered it here [3] and here [4].
So why did your coverage of the Ellen-Portia nuptials over the weekend read 'Ellen "marries" Portia,' in quotation marks? That implies the ladies weren't actually pronounced wife and wife [5]--and possibly even that gay marriage isn't actually marriage.
Not cool, CNN. Not cool.
