Nicole Richie announced her un-recent engagement to Joel Madden last night during a taping of the Late Show with David Letterman. And ladies, her ring is unbelievable. Apparently the couple of three years and two children have had plans to wed for some time now but were keeping it under wraps until... one of them had an appropriate venue to tell the world? Who knows!? Seems more likely that they were waiting in deference to Casey Johnson's untimely death (the two girls where childhood friends, with Casey originally cast to play the part of Paris' BFF on The Simple Life before Nicole signed on).
The two celebs are both due soon. Who'll be first?
According to word on the street, Christina Aguilera and Nicole Richie will be giving birth soon. Is it a race to see who'll drop first? Probably not, but it would be fun if it was.
Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are being lavished with beautiful baby gifts. Everyone loves someone pregnant. Instead of having a crib for every day of the week, they've started a charity to distribute some of this swag to those less fortunate. The Richie Madden will get baby stuff to 100 expectant and needy LA families.
