'New Year's Eve' has an ensemble cast of some of the biggest names in Hollywood — Halle Berry, Robert De Niro, Hilary Swank and Sarah Jessica Parker, to name a few. But boy, does this movie suck.
NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS
Great dress? Check. Wonderful New Year's Eve gathering to attend? Check. Hot guy on your arm? Check. Champagne for the toast? Check. New Year's resolutions created and posted on the fridge, laying on your nightstand or inside of your iPhone? Check. Then you are all set to ring in 2012, right? Hmm...not so much.

January is the coldest month of the year, and, apparently, the Arctic vibe extends beyond the temperature. The first month of the New Year is reportedly the most popular time of year to file for divorce. Rumor has it that January is ominously nicknamed "Divorce Month" in legal circles. It makes sense. The holidays are hectic, and relationship issues can come into sharper focus when stressed-out couples spend more time together. But is January's bad rap really deserved?

Everywhere we turn this month…twitter, Facebook, email, blog posts (even a few of mine)…it’s all about making or keeping New Year’s Resolutions. What will we do differently this year? What new goals are we setting for 2011? My instinct is when everyone is doing the same thing, be different.
Whether you are coupled or single, here are a few resolutions to get your “Year of Pleasure” started. First of all, do some redecorating. Look around your bedroom – does this room make you feel sensual and sexy? If not, it’s time to spruce things up. Our surroundings can have a significant impact on how we feel. Think about it – we spend time in nature or go to a house of worship to feel connected to something greater than ourselves. In contrast, when we want to let loose and have fun, we go to a bar.
