9 Lefties We'd Date On National Left Handers Day

9 Lefties We'd Date On National Left Handers Day

It comes but once a year, but we don't actually need a special day to want to jump on these people.

We'd like to show some love to all the lefties out there! In case you haven't heard, it's Left Handers' Day! Now, while only a select number of us have managed to nab a lefty, (only 10 percent of people are left handed) those of us who did, got some pleasant surprises. Research suggests that people who predominately use their left hand have higher than average IQs, maybe be more independent and more able to adapt to life. Some researchers even believe that lefties have more leadership abilities pointing to the recent number of left-handed presidents we've had in the United States. Some other fun facts about left handers: left handers excel in baseball, tennis and swimming, four of the five founder of Apple were left handed, and left handed people typically reach puberty before righties. While we realize some of the traits like adaptability and determination are probably inherited because it's a right-handed world, we still believe a lot of it is pure sex appeal. So, in honor of Left Handers' Day, we've developed the nine lefties we'd like to date.

Christina Aguilera Feels Sexier As Mom

The singer says she feels more confident and sexy since her son's birth.

So, we guess the days of raunchy sexcapades is over for the Beautiful singer. While we must admit while scenes from Fighter were strong, powerful images, the whole look was a little, well, Dirty. And then of course, there was the Madonna-Britney-Christina kiss at the VMAs. But we're done discussing Christina's past transgressions. If she's feeling sexier right now as a mom, we're proud of her.

So Much For That: Gay Conversions Don't Work

The APA says attempts to convert homosexuals aren't effective and may hurt people.

Remember a while back when the crazy church in Connecticut exorcised a gay demon from a teen, and then put a video on it online and then members were surprised when people weren't fans of the exorcism? Well, apparently the also need to read the latest research from the American Psychological Association, CNN reports. Yes, the group that considered homosexuality a mental illness until the '70s, just released a massive 138-page report, which investigated 87 peer reviewed studies, and found that conversion therapy for gays and lesbians is not only ineffective, but also has potential to harm the individual.

Jon Gosselin Sleeps With The Babysitter

The reality dad spends the night with a Pennsylvania bartender.

In what can only be chalked up to more proof that money and fame can make up for a lack of attractiveness and personality, Jon Gosselin has apparently bagged another one. And, by "another one" me be early-twenty-something woman who (we can only imagine) has delusions of grandeur. Now, perhaps that was a little harsh. But, according to RadarOnline (via celebitchy), the reality show dad had a fling with none other than ... the babysitter. Gasp!

Jon & Kate Plus 8 And New Mates?

Jon and Kate may be seen dating on TV, says TLC president.

Yes awe-struck readers, according to TLC president Eileen O'Neill, when Jon & Kate Plus 8 returns this Monday, we're going to see a whole new side to the family. The show will now chronicle the lives of each parent, trying to raise the children without the other one present. Such fun outing will include Kate trying to erect a tent (no pun indented) in the back yard and Jon trying to cook a pizza for the kids. How many pizzas would you need to feed eight kids anyhow? However, beyond the child rearing storyline, the duo will also be trying to find new companionship and the show will (expectedly) go into that as well. And if anyone really cares, the "iconic" (O'Neill's word not ours) couch will be replaced by two chairs from which the couple will be interviewed. We assume it's because having a couch from Maryland to New York might be a bit of a stretch.
