It seems the drama between Melissa Etheridge and her ex-wife actress Tammy Lynn Michaels is never ending.
If you remember, Melissa married Tammy, 36, in a decadent, but not technically legal, ceremony in 2003 and then supposedly dumped her in April 2010, amid reports that the singer-songwriter was cheating. (And, not to mention, Tammy's sad blog posts about Melissa leaving her destitute without enough money to take care of their twins.)
Now, Melissa is reportedly dating Tammy's former best friend, Hollywood producer/writer Linda Wallem, who, scandalously, was also the "best woman" at their wedding ceremony.

According to the Huffington Post, Melissa asked for joint custody of their twins - son Miller and daughter Johnnie Rose - that Tammy Lynn gave birth to in 2006, but requested that she not have to pay Tammy Lynn any financial support.

Ooh. Well, looks like the breakup between Tammy Lynn and Melissa Etheridge was anything but mutual as previously reported. Words started flying back in February when the L Word star wrote about "being crippled and bleeding" from the breakup. Mysteriously, they were soon deleted. Now it seems like the deletions were part of Melissa Etheridge's alpha-lesbian PR control machine, a machine whose sole intent was censoring any criticism of the singer that would hurt album sales. After all, people are more likely to listen to an album if they believe it is inspired by real life heartache, and not simply, say, the egotistical impulses of a woman who would leave two toddlers and a marriage of nine years "to pluck those strings more."

Okay so excuse me if I'm wrong, but haven't Melissa Etheridge and Tammy Lynn Michaels been married for a while now? I thought they were one of those couples like Rosie and other famous gay celebs who ran off to San Fran or Massachussetts and got hitched. Well, Lesbianlife claims they did tie the knot back in 2003, but it was only a civil union. However, according to Reuters, Etheridge has just recently announced their plans to be a "real" married couple (conveniently before the Proposition 8 decision) to celeb TV show Extra.
