A decade ago, there were some long-term Hollywood romances we forgot about and some flings we didn't even know about. In honor of Throwback Thursday, here are 15 couples from 2004.
Societal pressures say we should consummate our relationships by the third date. But what if you're uninterested in sex, want to wait until you are married, or are physically unable to do the deed? It can be hard to find (and keep) a date for those who want loving relationships without physical intimacy. But not anymore: 2date4love.com is the online dating site for you if you count yourself among the sexless.
Drew Barrymore and Justin Long play a pair of long-distance lovers in the romantic comedy Going the Distance (which is sadly not based on the Cake song), and not coincidentally, they are in fact on-and-off, occasionally long-distance lovers, who've now made two movies together. In an interview with New York magazine, Justin talked about his stop-and-go relationship with Drew.
If you think that regular civilians are the only ones who have an opinion on Hollywood scandals, think again. Lots of celebrities have voiced their opinion over the Tiger Woods and Jesse James scandals. Here's a roundup of what some have said, according to US Magazine, PopEater and ABC News, among other sources
YourTango recently gave Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon some Halloween costume ideas, after Mariah confessed that she and her new hubby didn't know who or what to dress as this year. That presented a frightening prospect — what if there were other celeb couples out there with nothing to wear to their velvet rope parties? With Halloween less than two weeks away, we thought we would offer up some more creative costume ideas so that these dazzling duos won't have to face the horror of sitting at home in their sweatpants, handing out candy to all the revelers.
Adam Goldstein — better known as DJ AM — was found dead last night (Friday, August 28) in his New York City apartment. Police, prompted to enter his apartment after a friend called 911, found him face down, shirtless, and surrounded by prescription drugs and a crack pipe. He was 36 and, according to a friend, heartbroken over a recent breakup.
HBO's smash hit Entourage is an illustration of many things: a celeb-obsessed culture, boys-will-be-boys Peter Pan-ism, conspicuous consumption, a consequence-free hook-up atmosphere and me-too voyeurism… but it is also a few lessons to be learned. The show, loosely based on Mark Wahlberg's rise to fame in Hollywood, isn't all fast cars, fellatio and fart jokes. The bromance between Vince, Eric, Johnny Drama, Turtle and Ari provides the show's spine but romance pokes its head in there a time for two as well.
Remember when Paris Hilton was like, sooo in love with Benji Madden? She yakked and yakked to the paps about their special bond and spit out a whole slew of mushy cliches, only in true Ms. Hilton fashion. Well, just scratch all of that. In fact, erase it from your memory, because Paris is now allegedly done with Benji and moving on with Stavros Niarchos. Name ring a bell? He's the Greek shipping heiress who Paris dated in 2006. The Superficial reports that the socialite and her ex were getting nice and cozy at a Miami nightclub over the weekend. "Bouncin' in the club where the heat is on, all night on the beach till the break of dawn. I'm goin' to Miami, welcome to Miami." Thank you, Will Smith for summing up Paris and Stavros' reconciliation. So before she was gettin' all jiggy wit it in the club, Hilton was attending the Victoria's Secret fashion show and so was the Greek. A source told The Sun, "Stavros looked thrilled to see Paris again and was spotted stroking her hair. They then looked deep in conversation." We can't wait to hear what Benji boy has to say about this.
We missed some pretty inconsequential celebrity gossip today. Sorry, we don't want to fight about it. We just want to tell you the news about Chris Evans and Kristin Cavallari, T Pain, DJ AM and Mandy Moore, and Carol Alt and Ron Greschner. Where else are you going to get all this news at one glance with a side of Tracy Morgan?
According to StarPulse, the shock of the near-death plane crash last week that caused severe burns to celebrity DJ, Adam ‘DJ AM’ Goldstein, caused ex-girlfriend, actress Mandy Moore, to reconsider their breakup. Moore reportedly rushed to the burned DJ’s side while in a hospital in Augusta, Georgia, and the two have supposedly been inseparable since his return to Los Angeles late last week, despite reports of a current girlfriend.
Evidently, Wilmer Valderrama is too busy for a girlfriend. Only Ryan Seacrest can claim to be ‘too busy’ for a girlfriend and even he has the decency to look embarrassed when he says it. Maybe Valderramma has just hit his number. It’s like there are only so many miles in a car’s life and only so many hits in a baseball bat, maybe WV has run his hit his total.
