It looks like it's going to be a very merry holiday season for British singer Lily Allen and her new husband, Sam Cooper.
British singer Lily Allen had a lot to smile about this past weekend. Not only did she finally marry her beau, Sam Cooper, in a lovely ceremony in the English countryside, but the couple also revealed that they are expecting their first child. Lily is reportedly 12 weeks pregnant, and although she was seen at Chanel's offices in the months prior to her wedding, Lily actually walked down the aisle in a vintage-inspired Delphine Manivet dress that covered her growing baby bump. Following a church ceremoney and a "cricket tea" wedding reception at a 17th century estate, Sam announced to their family and friends that Lily was expecting during a wedding toast that brought down the house.
England is known for always being rainy (or at least seeming that way,) but there's no doubt that British singer Lily Allen was hoping for clear skies for her outdoor, summer wedding to Sam Cooper this coming weekend. Unfortunately, it looks like Mother Nature has something else in mind for Lily's big day - namely, rain and hurricane-force winds!
Last week, we reported that British singer Lily Allen was planning on spending her honeymoon at the Glastonbury Music Festival, and, now, it appears that supermodel Kate Moss is planning on outdoing her by making her entire wedding reception like a "mini-Glastonbury." One person who won't be invited to Kate's wedding? That would be Kate's former BFF, Lily Allen, who she has reportedly fallen out with the hard-partying model and did not invite her to her bachelorette party this past weekend.
Unlike a certain royal couple, there will be no snorkeling in the Seychelles on Lily Allen's honeymoon! The 26-year-old British singer is scheduled to marry fiancé Sam Cooper on June 11th, and according to her pal, Glastonbury Festival organizer, Michael Eavis, the newlyweds will be honeymooning in a tent at the famous music festival later in the month, VIP-style.
We hope Lily Allen wasn't looking forward to a simple, quiet wedding. The singer's wedding details were made public after she sent out her "save the date" cards yesterday. Now not only do her guests know exactly where and when she'll be saying "I do" (June 11, in Goucestershire), so does anyone who cares enough to Google her name.
Lily Allen has kept a relatively low profile since suffering a devastating miscarriage (the singer's second) last November. However, with her wedding to beau Sam Cooper and a new business venture looming, the pop star has stepped back out into the spotlight...The 25-year-old singer was spotted at Paris Fashion Week, watching the Chanel show from the front row. Turns out she wasn't just there to see the hottest new spring looks—she also had an important meeting about her wedding dress with designer Karl Lagerfeld.
A month ago, we wondered if Lily Allen and her boyfriend, Sam Cooper, might get engaged or married soon in order to distract themselves from the grief and disappointment of losing their baby. (Lily tragically suffered a miscarriage back in November while 6 months pregnant.) It turns out we were right! According to PopEater.com, Sam popped the question to Lily over Christmas while they were vacationing in Bali. Supposedly, he waited for the the sun to set over the Indian ocean before getting down on one knee on their hotel balcony. (Pretty romantic, no?) Lily must have thought so because she reportedly burst into tears.
After a tragic miscarriage, might Lily Allen still have something to celebrate in 2011? According to the Daily Mail, who is reporting the 25-year-old singer is planning on wedding her boyfriend Sam Cooper after the new year in hopes of easing the pain of her recent miscarriage, the answer is 'yes!'
In what is truly tragic news, 25-year-old singer Lily Allen reportedly suffered a miscarriage last week and and lost the baby that she was expecting with her boyfriend Sam Cooper. She was six months pregnant at the time. According to PopEater.com: "It is with great sadness that we have to confirm that Lily Allen and Sam Cooper have lost their baby. The couple ask that their privacy be respected and that they be left alone at this deeply distressing time. No further comment will be made." lthough no other details were released, Lily's quest to become a first-time mom has been an exceptionally sad one, especially for someone as young as she is. This lost marks the second miscarriage for the singer. In January 2008, the singer became pregnant for the first time with her then-boyfriend Ed Simmons of The Chemical Brothers. After the miscarriage of that baby, the couple broke up and Lily called it the "worst time of her life."
Congrats to our favorite British pop singer, Lily Allen! The 25-year-old singer recently revealed that she and boyfriend Sam Cooper are expecting a baby together. According to the Daily Mail, Lily is 3 months pregnant and over the moon. "It brings me great pleasure to tell you that Sam and I are expecting our first child. It goes without saying that we are both absolutely delighted," said Lily in a statement.
British celebrities are stealthy stealing America's heart. Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Posh & Becks dominate our headlines as much as any Stateside star. Well then, it looks like someone's got some explaining to do. How irresponsible do you have to be to go and get pregnant at such a tender, young age? Honestly, how many 25-year olds are ready to raise a baby, Lily Allen? Lily Allen and boyf Ed Simon have a baby on the way. And some girl from one of the Disney shows, Jamie Lynn Spears, is pregnant too.
Lily Allen has given up on therapy. She gave up on it after two months of dating Ed Simons from The Chemical Brothers. It looks like John Lennon was right (again), all you need is love. These guys are moving pretty fast. She's already talked about quitting music and raising a family.
Lily Allen has said that she is going to quit the music game. After the current album that she’s working on, Still, she is going to retire from the biz. She wants to raise kids (and pigs and chickens) in the country. She is currently dating Ed Simons from The Chemical Brothers. We love this celebrity cliché, ‘Life is so hectic, I just want to get a place in the country and forget about the world for a while.’ A) Farming is not easy. B) Sarah Silverman already said this about Britney, but if Lily sticks to her plan it will probably be a major relief to accomplish everything that you’re going to accomplish in life by the age of 25.
