By Whitney Baker Johnson for CupidsPulse.com Everybody loves a good prank – and celebrities are no different. Of course, their pranks usually get more attention than those executed by everyday folks. They have endless means at their disposable (including a fan base to share the funny news) and often take pranking to a whole new level.
Despite whatever rumors people may have to say about Tom Cruise, it definitely seems that the ladies have a hard time getting over him. First there was that whole thing with Cher… And now there's Nicole Kidman, who admitted to Marie Claire UK in their latest issue that her break-up with Tom did quite the number on her.
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban looked particularly happy and in love at Sunday night's Golden Globe Awards, but we had no idea that they were recently blessed with another daughter, who was born on December 28th via a surrogate mother. "Our family is truly blessed, and just so thankful, to have been given the gift of baby Faith Margaret," Nicole and Keith said to New York Daily News in a statement. "No words can adequately convey the incredible gratitude that we feel for everyone who was so supportive throughout this process, in particular our gestational carrier."
To most people, winning an Oscar would be a dream come true. For Nicole Kidman, it’s nothing compared to winning Keith Urban’s heart. “I remember thinking, Oh, my God, if you ever gave me a man like that, I promise I would be completely devoted for the rest of my life. Something that wild,” Kidman, 43, tells guest interviewer Jennifer Aniston in February’s Harper’s Bazaar. Kidman’s prayers were answered when she and Urban got married in 2006.
ountry music star Keith Urban may have put his wife Nicole Kidman through a media frenzy in the past after entering rehab for cocaine addiction in 2006, but the singer makes it up to her in the cover of his new album, Get Closer. According to OK Magazine, in his lover letter to the Australian actress in the CD's liner notes, Keith wrote, "Nicole Mary—I continue to be brought to my knees by this love of ours… I am in awe of how this blessed family we are creating stretches and fearlessly opens my vulnerable heart…and I just want to be a better man, for you, and father for our heavenly Sunday Rose and have you go to sleep every night knowing that no one has ever, or will ever, love you as much as I do…and all we need is faith."
It's no surprise that this year's CMAs were dominated by celebrity couples. Blame it on Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, but there's just something about a country duo that everybody seems to love. Sadly, though, not everyone was coupled up. Taylor Swift arrived solo without her reported boyfriend, Jake Gyllenhaal, and a "somber-looking" Billy Ray Cyrus made his first red carpet appearance since the news of his split from wife Tish became public. Oh, well, perhaps Billy Ray will write a sad, yet award-winning, country song about their divorce and be back on top at next year's show like the 5 happy couples below?
Wednesday night's CMT Awards show was a veritable parade of famous engaged ladies: Carrie Underwood, the night's big winner with belt buckles (no, really) for video of the year and performance video of the year, showed off the skating rink her hockey-player fiance, Mike Fisher, gave her, and her fellow winner Miranda Lambert flaunted an equally gorgeous ring from singer Blake Shelton.
When it comes to weddings, celebrities are not frugal, DIY-ers. And while some of the elements may be the same (there’s always a crazy wedding dress and an even crazier cake), the celebrity weddings below could rival the the average GDP of some cities in cost.
One couple that is sure to have a smokin' hot Valentine's Day this year is Aussie country singer Keith Urban and his actress wife, Nicole Kidman. Although it has been nearly 3 1/2 years since the pair were married in Sydney, the two just can't stop talking about the transformative power of their love. The pair — who now have a desperately-tried-for daughter, Sunday Rose, together — are many things to one another: co-parent, muse, savior, fetishist. Wait, what?
Nicole Kidman has seen a lot in her days when it comes to sex and marriage, admitting to GQ magazine that it has been 'mundane' at times, but that her three year relationship to rock star Keith Urban has been nothing less than "a very extraordinary, adventurous place to be."
