How many people will you pass today who need a hug? Tomorrow is National Hugging Day. Make it count.
"Hugs are what I miss the most."
A deep sigh followed by a painful silence. Not knowing the frail little lady in front of me, I was not sure what to say. Her skin at 85 was nearly transluscent and it looked like a hug might break a bone.
"How long has it been?" I asked.
"Thirty eight years next week, two days before our anniversary."
Resolving to hug your partner every day can change your relationship for the better.
Have you made your relationship resolutions? WHAT, you haven't thought about it? Well, it's time!
Almost everyone makes goals or intentions related to their business, and many people make resolutions related to health and fitness. But how many of you make resolutions for your relationships?
Men will consider sleeping with the trashy looking girl, but will never bring her home to mama.
Men and women usually go to the club for vastly different reasons. Men go to the club to find women, find women, and to find women. Women go to the club to sometimes find a man, but also to enjoy themselves by dancing and drinking the night away with friends.
Men are reactionary creatures. If you want to know what we think about you at the club, all you need to do is evaluate one thing: Your activity at the club. Men read what women give us to read. It’s as simple as that.
Ellie Scarborough, of PinkKisses.com, reflects on connecting to loved ones & the importance of hugs.
Happy holidays!
Here's something I want you to think about today: when was the last time you gave a real hug?
Today I want to talk about real hugs, reflection & being honest. Here's my two cents:
Hug Like You Mean It
Make a decision today to start giving hugs like you actually mean it. And, while you're at it, try telling some awesome people in your life exactly what they mean to you.
Look at this creepy creeperson! He'll have you swallowing like 5 Plan B's in no time.
Plus, Plan B may soon be available over the counter. No more awkward Planned Parenthood visits.
The creepiest song lyrics ever. Having babies too late may be even less safe than we thought. Do not start having sex with your neighbor if you want a relationship. Is your guy totally into someone else? Plan B may soon be available over-the-counter. Good-looking friends make you look... better. Hugs may not be as innocent as you think. France may ban prostitution.
This morning, I found myself yearning for love. I just wanted to be in the arms of someone who would tell me that everything would be okay. For various reasons, the past week has been a rough one for me. Truth be told, I’ve been mired in what I call The Dark Place, which is exactly what it sounds like. In The Dark Place, there is no light, warmth, or hope. It’s not a rational or fun place to find myself, but I was there nonetheless.
I knew my husband was the person I needed to lean on. Yet, from my vantage point in The Dark Place, my husband was part of the problem. He seemed distant. I felt as if we spoke two different languages. I also felt some sort of odd tension between us. But one thing I know about The Dark Place is this: human interaction and touch is one of the fastest ways to get out of it.
A HUG A DAY KEEPS THE DARKNESS AWAY
When it comes to spooning, sometimes you just want to be on the inside.
Sometimes spooning is a good scene. But for some reason there's a stigma against straight dudes who like riding inside spoon. I know that being held isn't very manly but that doesn't explain why it feels so darn good, does it? Maybe one day we can live in a world where a man can be hugged from behind while lying in bed and still be able to look himself in the mirror.
Spooning, cuddling, hugging, women would like more of this, please.
A recent study has showed that women would prefer more cuddling. In fact, in relationship to more sex or more foreplay, would prefer cuddling over all of the above. Who doesn't like holding, right? This is one of those things that would be a good idea to ask for.
