Mary Ann Winkowski communicates with "earthbound ghosts," those who have yet to cross into the white light (yes, Winkowski says, it exists). She's not to be confused with a medium—a person who can communicate with those who've already "crossed over." Like so many handsome, talented stars who die young, Heath Ledger has become the subject of great attention and speculation since his untimely passing in 2008 at the age of 28. Questions have arisen about whether his overdose was really accidental. Many have asked whether he was an addict. And some have even suggested that he was so depressed over his split with Michelle Williams— the mother of his only child, Matilda — that perhaps he no longer wanted to be alive. Friends and colleagues close to the late actor, however, insist that his death really was unintentional. And in the cover story ofJuly's Vanity Fair, entitled "The Last of Heath," they share their thoughts on the end of both his life and his relationship with Williams.
Forbes.com released its list of Hollywood's Hottest Tots last week with Suri Cruise and Shiloh Jolie-Pitt leading the pack. We're not surprised since the two year old cuties are arguably as famous as their popular parents, but the list had several other shockers. We were surprised by some of the other choices on the list, not to mention the disturbing imagery conjured up by connecting the words "hottest" and "tots" (ewww . . . ). For those of you who want to deny yourself a slideshow of adorable children, here's the list.

From US Weekly It’s no secret Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal aren’t into PDA. But their behavior at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 7 was cold, even for them. There’s good reason: After six months of on-and-off dating, the pair are kaput. “This is the harshest split they’ve had,” a source tells Us. “Reese told Jake it’s best they don’t talk at all.” Indeed, the costars stood apart and rarely made eye contact at the Rendition press conference. They remained distant at the afterparty, where Witherspoon kept to herself and Gyllenhaal chatted with his mom and costar Peter Sarsgaard (sister Maggie’s beau). But by 11 p.m., when they hit the fete for George Clooney’s movie Michael Clayton, the frostiness melted: “They seemed like a couple,” an eyewitness tells Us. “Reese was happy and having a good time.” YourTango's Take
