Antwaun Cook, the married man at the heart of the Fantasia Barrino suicide scandal is now speaking out to defend his former lover. The reality TV star, who downed a bottle of aspirin and sleeping pills in a reported suicide attempt, after word got out that she was having an affair with Cook, has stayed mum since she was released from the hospital. But sources tell the folks over at RadarOnline.com that Barrino went off the deep end after Cook's wife filed divorce papers, alleging that Fantasia and Antwaun were sleeping together and made multiple sex tapes while he was still married. (Seriously, will celebs ever learn to stop with the sex tapes already?!?!)
Fantasia Barrino was hospitalized Monday night after overdosing on a cocktail of aspirin and sleep aids, according to the singer's rep. Luckily, the dose wasn't lethal and the former American Idol winner and reality TV star, is now in stable condition at a North Carolina Hospital.
