Marriage Mission Statement
Getting to "I do" isn't enough, your marriage needs a mission!

2. Determine what you want your marriage to be. Thinking forward, what do you seek in your marriage? What 5, 10 and beyond years from now will you be proud of if you have done or become?

3. Determine what you want your marriage to do. This part focuses on the purpose of your marriage. How do you want your marriage to impact each other, your family, your community, the world?

4. Identify the values and principles for your marriage. What does your marriage stand for? What doesn’t it stand for? What separates right from wrong to you?

Creating your mission statement is an incredibly powerful and beautiful experience between a couple. It goes beyond your altar vows and really solidifies the union between the two of you. Remember, it is a road map, one that can, and should be revised as time goes on and life for you two evolves. Enjoy the process of creating it as you will undoubtedly have the opportunity to get to know each other better as you build this foundation of your love.

Live and love largely,
Tristan
