The Reason I Became A Helping Professional

In 2008, my wife and I were experiencing a very difficult time in our marriage. I believed that it couldn't get any worse for us. Yet, I didn't want to give up. I began reading everything I could get my hands on about what makes successful marriages and relationships. After spending 6 months submerged in great books about healthy relationships, I knew the information I was learning wasn't just for my marriage, but for others as well.

I am fascinated with the (male) brain. We men tend to get ourselves into stupid situations (ie. porn and other sexual issues). This can be extremely hurtful for ourselves and our relationships. Being someone who has had this struggle, I work with men to encourage them through this, and have begun studying what makes a "sexual addict", and how to help them. My wife works with girlfriends, fiances and wives whose husbands have hurt them through their behaviors. My marriage website, TheMarryBlogger.com, began in March of 2009. We continue to mentor couples, Speak at marriage events and provide relationship coaching at StuGray.com.
