About Sharla Macy

I bring to the table a warm, engaging and inquisitive style, direct and filled with tools and resources to guide our work together. I have had the privilege of helping hundreds of individuals, couples, families and companies work through incredible challenges toward a positive outcome with greater resilience through relationship counseling.

I was licensed in California in 1987 and in Colorado in 1993. I practiced in the San Francisco Bay Area where I worked in private practice, clinics, school-based programs and non-profit organizations. In Colorado, I continued my specialization with individuals and couples, groups and organizations. I was an Adjunct Professor at Regis University in Human Growth and Development, where I received the Excellence in Education award as a course consultant.

I also have 18 years working with corporations and organizations in organizational, training and development and provide an array of services for employees and Executives as well as CEOs.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Counseling from St. Mary’s University. In addition, I have a second Masters in Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from Austin College.

On a personal note, I have 31 years in marriage with two successfully launched children and a Springer Spaniel, Maggie Mae. I love quality time with family and friends, hiking, music and travel. I am a connector, and bring creativity and appreciation of excellence and beauty both for my clients and the greater world. I will be honored to assist you through the change you are seeking.
