I am a nationally-certified sex therapist and Owner of Clinical Concepts in Sexual Health in Los Angeles, CA. I have been evaluating and treating sexual disorders for more than 20 years. After earning my masters degree from Case Western Reserve University, I completed a 5 year post-graduate fellowship in clinical sexuality at a University Hospital affiliated sex clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. I am a Behaviorist Tutor at UCLA's David Geffen School of Medicine and an assistant professor of psychiatry at Northeast Ohio Medical University.
I lecture and present at national and international sexual health conferences. I am a consultant and featured expert on TLC/Discovery Health’s “Strange Sex” series and a contributing writer to Woman’s Day magazine. I am a certified Diplomate of Sex Therapy through the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists. I am also a member of the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health and the Society for Sex Therapy and Research.
I offer support groups on various aspects of sexuality, run a one-day couples retreat, provide individual and couples counseling, and promote sexual health of the community by offering free educational opportunities. In addition to clinical work, I conduct sexual health research from an evolutionary perspective.

I created Clinical Concepts in Sexual Health to help people explore the role of sexuality in their lives and achieve optimal sexual health and satisfaction. I am a clinical instructor of Psychiatry at UCLA's David Geffen School of Medicine and an associate professor of psychiatry at Northeast Ohio Medical University. I have an office in Los Angeles and also provide online intimacy and relationship coaching.

After earning my masters degree in clinical social work in 1994, I completed a 5-year post graduate fellowship in clinical sexuality at a private, university-affiliated sex clinic in Cleveland Ohio. My scope of practice includes medical sex therapy, male and female sexual dysfunction, sex addiction, LGBT issues, BDSM, and extra-marital affairs.
