Kinky is the new vanilla?

And, I for one, LOVE IT. I just don't think that any adult should have any shame or embarassment when a it comes to their own sexual expression.
Is there a crazy amount of hype around "50 Shades of Grey" and the kinky sex? Hell yes. You know it's a frenzy when Barbara Walters wears a Black leather jacked on "The View" and bring up the mommy porn that is sweeping the nation.

I have had 20/20 and all kinds of other media outlets calling to ask how the "50 Shades of Grey" trilogy is influencing our pleasure parties and our online store purchases.
It may interest you to know that the "fetish" type items have been outpacing the sex toy novelties for over 2 years now. Something happened a few years ago and suddenly our customers here in San Jose and San Francisco seem to start looking for something besides the bullets, the rabbits and the dolphins.

I think that part of the reason that the fetish and bondage products have experienced so much growth is thanks to the fact that many of the kinky product manufacturers have softened their packaging. When you guy a doggy style strap or door cuffs and the packaging is white with hot Pink or lavendar logos and type - it's much cuter and less menacing.
Over the years, the manufacturers realized that you need to appeal to "regular women" to get them to buy their bondage and submsision gear... and it worked!
To keep up with the times, my pleasure party company in San Jose has had to grow and expand our offerings. We did pleasure parties here in the Bay Area for 8 years and in 2011 we started offering Blow Job home parties. The demand was there and now we book 5 - 6 blow job parties a month.
