50 Shades of Grey Gave Me My Mojo Back
I wish I had a penny for every time I have heard that. 50 Shades is lighting bedrooms afire!

At BlissConnection.com we are pretty excited about the way "50 Shades of Grey" has been shining some light on women’s desires and getting women all over the country to talk more openly about their sex lives. While the writing may not be the best we’ve ever read, we can’t deny the sex appeal. Obviously, we’re not the only ones who are intrigued by the popularity of 50 Shades of Grey!  Here’s what people are saying about the hot (and hot-selling) trilogy.

•“There is something America finds squicky about a broad cross-section of women, including suburban mothers and women of a certain age, digging on highly-sexualized content. What’s with the special term “mommy porn,” anyway? Are we to believe that mommies’ approval somehow diminishes porn? Is “mommy porn” less legitimate than “regular porn?””

•“50 Shades of Grey is a powerful book about a deep, complex relationship. It ends on kind of a cliffhanger that had me reeling and dying to pick up book 2. After 1 book, I am attached to the characters and I have to see how their story plays out, I am hooked.” Book Savvy Babe

•“So while the steamy scenes have no doubt sent many hands wandering beneath the sheets during bedtime reading, much of Grey’s appeal is its Cinderella story—the rich-man-sweeps-innocent-beauty-off-her-feet female fantasy. And as in so many romance novels, beneath the hero’s domineering veneer there’s a vulnerability that only the heroine can penetrate, though not without some emotional maneuvering.” The Daily Beast

•“The hugely popular erotic novel “50 Shades of Grey” is quickly becoming universal water cooler conversation for women from all walks of life. Everyone from so-called “mommy bloggers” to hardcore feminists is hailing the tome as a triumph for women, in spite of the book’s strong themes of female submission at the hands of a high-powered man.” Fox News

I’ve talked before about how some men really dislike sex toys. They worry that a dildo or vibrator will replace them, whether due to sheer size or its ability to get a woman off.    The interesting thing is that many women seem to be just as intimidated by sex toys. They wonder if they’ll get addicted. They wonder if their partners ... Read more
