Alan Roger Currie is a book author, dating coach, public speaker and talk radio host who currently resides in the Chicagoland region. Currie is best known for his first paperback entitled Mode One: Let the Women Know What You’re REALLY Thinking. Since Mode One was released in March 2006, Currie has written three additional books: Upfront and Straightforward: Let the Manipulative Game Players Know What You’re REALLY Thinking, Oooooh . . . Say it Again: Mastering the Fine Art of Verbal Seduction and Aural Sex, and The Possibility of Sex: How Naïve and Lustful Men are Manipulated by Women Regularly.
Currie is also well known for being the Host of the most popular talk radio podcast program in the category of “Romance” on the BlogTalkRadio Internet Radio Network entitled, Upfront & Straightforward with Alan Roger Currie. On this program, Currie has interviewed hundreds of experts who offer advice related to dating and relationships, love, sex, attraction, seduction, marriage, and overall self-improvement for dating singles. Currie’s advice has been heard on many local, regional, and national talk radio programs, and he has been quoted in Essence magazine and had his talk radio program mentioned in Black Enterprise magazine. Currie has also appeared on local, regional, and national television. Currie’s primary clientele is single heterosexual men looking for advice on how to approach women with more confidence, and how to initiate a conversation with new female acquaintances that will ultimately lead to a romantic and/or sexual connection. Currie does telephone and Skype consultations with men all over the world, as well as One-on-One Coaching sessions.
Currie also works with both single women and women in relationships who tend to categorize themselves as “verbal prudes,” and are looking to enhance and improve their talent for erotic ‘dirty talk’ and verbal eroticism. Currie does not believe sex is the "taboo" subject that many factions in society will have you believe that it is. Currie also offers advice and wisdom related to helping both men and women quickly and effectively identify, prevent, avoid "manipulative head games."
Currie was voted the Best Speaker and Most Informative Presenter at The Direct Approach Dating Summit UK held in London, England (November 2010) and he also earned the same accolades at The Direct Approach Dating Summit USA held in Las Vegas, NV (March 2012). In 2013, Currie is slated to speak in Berlin, Germany, Washington, D.C., and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Currie’s books are frequently ranked in the Top 100 Bestsellers in their respective categories on Amazon.com. Currie graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. Currie also spends a lot of time in Los Angeles, where he lived for over six years.
