3 Tips To A Great Date Night
Keep the love alive and make your time together count!

We think one of the keys to a great relationship is spending time together – lots of it!! We have a date night just about every week and work on being intentional with this part of our relationship. It IS important, but there is one question that needs to be answered…how do you have a date night that satisfies all of the Money Personalities in your relationship?  He has the Money Personality as a Risk Taker and wants to go somewhere different each week and she is a Saver and is worried about the cost of the movie, cost of the dinner and cost of the gas to get there.

Here are three tips to satisfy each person in your relationship:

1.    Alternate who picks what you do – This way each person can be satisfied.  For example the Security Seeker can choose a “predictable date” one week and the Flyer can pick something spur of the moment the next.  The Spender could pick something lavish one week and the Saver could choose a cheaper picnic the next.  Be sure to be supportive of each others ideas…..a great way to keep the romance alive ☺.

2.    Add creativity – Life is busy and sometimes we forget to add the “spice” in to our relationship.  Don’t do the same ol’ boring dates…. add something new and different in to the mix.  Surprise each other, take a drive to somewhere you have never gone before, go to that new restaurant you have been wanting to try or find a local concert that seems enticing.
