This is a very interesting post. I also know of happily married couples who, if they can afford it, find or build homes with separate, adjoining bedrooms. This is surely not what my husband and I would want, but there reasons that make great sense, Interestingly, several hesitate to tell their friends and families about these decisions, and when guests arrive, describe the second bedroom as a guest room.
