For Love of the Moon in the Springtime!
By Raven Keyes. Posted on .
The full moon arrives here in NYC on Saturday, March 19th at 2:10 pm, and the Spring Equinox arrives the very next day on Sunday at 7:21 pm. The energies of the earth itself are shifting into the new season, but that's not all! In this Now long awaited, the energies from the heavenly realms are supporting a deep awakening in humankind, along with a connection between faeries and humans with pure hearts. We are destined to share the new energies together in order to make the world a better place...And this is likewise a very powerful time in which to become a magnet to your own true love!
Here are the outlines of the rituals I will be doing, in case you would like to celebrate wherever YOU are and don't have rituals of your own set up.
Rituals and ceremonies are usually performed at some kind of altar, either in your home or out of doors. Altars can be created and dissembled at will and are comprised of things that represent the four elements:
* a candle for fire;
* a bowl of water or a seashell for water;
* incense or a feather for air;
* a stone, crystal, potted plant, or cut flowers for earth.
For both ceremonies, you can use a drum, a rattle, or even a bottle of aspirin or box of tic tacs to make a rattle. The full moon ceremony can be celebrated on Friday night, Saturday at 2:10 pm or on Saturday night - whatever pleases you.
Facing the altar say a little prayer of your own from your heart. Say whatever comes to you and thank the moon for hearing your heart's desires. Take as much time as you wish. At the end, say, "Thank you to all the Spirits who have attended this ceremony. May blessings be upon you and upon me! Thank you, thank you, thank you."
