The Reason I Became A Helping Professional

I have been a therapist since 2003. I have specialized training in working with couples and families.  Through my experience I have found that people’s ability to want to change and to work through some of the most difficult times in their lives can be very empowering to them.  I became a therapist because I have a desire to help people.  I focused on Couples/ Marriage and Family Therapy because of its focus on relationships and interactional patterns. 

I believe that in life we are living in relationships.  What I love about my work is the ability to help people look at relationships and interactions in their lives and talk about what to do differently.    My belief is that our life is a story.  We can’t go back and change or erase what has already been written, but we do have the power to start writing a new chapter in our book of life.  It’s very rewarding to help people create that new story.

I hope to help people create new hopes, new stories and new shared meaningful experiences in their relationships.
