The Simple Life of Dating
There are certain dates that can be enjoyed outside of stilettoes and in your comfiest pair of jeans

The definition of a date is assumed to be an extravagant dinner or trips to the Opera that often involve dressing up from head to toe. However, there are certain dates that can be enjoyed outside of stilettoes and in your comfiest pair of jeans.

1. Take a day trip to the beach: If you’re the kind of person that likes being out in the sun with the sand between their toes, then go for it. If you’re feeling lazy, you two can lay out under an umbrella, have a few cocktails, and get to know each other better. For the more active types, there’s always something going on whether it’s a random game of beach volleyball or checking out fun activities on the Boardwalk.

2. Buy tickets for a local game: Whether its baseball or basketball, unless it’s a big game, the sport doesn’t really matter. The best part about watching a game live is the atmosphere. Sure, it may be loud, but in this respect, it’s no different from watching a movie or going to see a play on Broadway. However, for more quiet events, there may be an opportunity to continue your discussion from dinner while you share a bag of popcorn.

3. Visit the aquarium or even the planetarium: Unless you hate the galaxy and have an affinity for fish, going to one over the other doesn’t really make a difference. Both are usually cool, dark locations that are equally as romantic.  Whether you go before or after dinner, it’s a good excuse to snuggle up and maybe even sneak a kiss in a dark corner or two.

4. Take a class together: Instead of going to a restaurant of his choosing or a café that you’re familiar with, why not go somewhere new to the both of you. Whether its something hands on like pottery or crazy like trapeze just make sure its something neither of you have ever done before. It’ll be a unique experience you can share and reminisce about later.
