The Law of Attraction

Okay...so I was sitting here thinking what exactly attracted me to my mate...was it her eyes...nose...smile...sense of humor or something else. What is the first law of attraction based on? I suppose honestly no one wants to say that looks matters...but I think that looks 'do' matter...at least at first....I mean it has to be something you see at first sight of that person that draws you to them....it's how you react after what you've seen that draws the lines between you superficial or not...right?
