My background is quite diverse, and having lived and traveled in many parts of the world and experienced all that I have, I bring great compassion and passion to what I do.

My greatest joy, in my practice and in my life, is helping others find the strength and beauty and joy they possess.  Though they may not have felt that joy or that strenght, or though they may not have felt beautiful on the inside, I am able to help them find it again and to realize that they have always had it.  It is not only because of my training but also because I have experienced life's challenges and have found answers, that I am able to help others as effectively as I do.  Hypnosis is one of the most effective tools for helping people navigate and recreate, so they may realize the life they want and deserve.

I am a writer, a speaker, and a clinical hypnotist, having been Licensed and Certified as a Hypnotist by the State of Indiana, which at the time had the most stringent requirements for that profession in the country.  I am also a Reiki Master and EFT and NLP practitioner.

My community service includes membership in various Chambers of Commerce, membership in the Better Business Bureau, and more.  I served many years on the Board of Directors of The Villages, a children and family services nonprofit, and was interim President of Joyful Living (see Favorite Charities).  I currently serve on the Advisory Board of the Indiana Center for Intercultural Communication at IUPUI.

The Reason I Became A Helping Professional

When I was CEO of a leading packaging company, I had an "open-door" policy for all company personnel.  My staff used to tell me how amazing it was to watch others, who may be angry or sad, walk in to my office, but they would always see them walking out with a smile on their face and their head held high. So, I decided to follow what was my passion and what gave me such joy.  I love to help others navigate this journey, empowering them and helping them realize that they are fully worthy and have all they need inside of them, already, to have a joyous, fulfilling life.
