Single is the new black.

5. The most important relationship you have is with your self. Being comfortable with who you are as a person is the best kind of relationship you can have. You are your anchor. You are your best relationship ever!

So, the next time you feel judged, either by yourself of others, stop and remember these five reasons to celebrate your status. In fact, our obsession with romantic love has probably hindered our ability to create a healthy sense of community, family, and belonging. Maybe the single people of the world will actually lead us back to where we need to be. In a world community in which we are all committed to each other's well-being.

Be well,
