You can experiment with all of this by taking back just one hour a day to check in with yourself, with your own needs and true desires, and – if you’re feeling saucy – acting upon them. Saying “yes” to something your higher self has been calling upon you to do for as long as you can remember, but that you’ve ignored because you were too busy addressing the whims of a world that needs you.

Give yourself permission to put on your oxygen mask and see if it isn’t easier to breathe.
