You Can Find Love Again...Just Ask Shania Twain
Shania Twain was able to overcome heartbreak and find love again with her new husband

Imagine you are on the top of the world. You have sold over 100 million albums. You are married to one of the world's most famous record producers, the one person who has almost single handedly, supported and guided you on your path to superstar success.

And then one day you find out he is having an affair with your best friend? Think that would turn your world upside down? It doesn't make a difference who you are and how much money you have, being betrayed by both your husband and your best friend has got to take the wind out of your sails and cause some emotional baggage.

If you didn't know the person who was on the receiving end of the infidelity was Shania Twain. But hold on there is some good news (see below). But before I tell you the good news I want to share Shania's journey.

We tend to put celebrities, athletes and entertainers up on a pedestal. But the truth is they are human beings just like you and I. They are not immune to life's problems, in fact many of these individuals face stress and pressures that you and I can't even imagine.

Last night wrapped up a 5 part mini-series on Shania's Journey on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) called "Why Not with Shania Twain."

In this docu-series Shania takes the viewers on a journey where she deals with her stuff. I have always been a Shania Twain fan but after this series I have come to admire and respect her even more.

Imagine opening up and allowing the world to see your problems and struggles. It doesn't make a difference if you're Shania Twain or your Betty from Boston. Opening up and showing the world that you have problems and you don't have all the answers is not easy.

In fact, that is what makes this series so powerful. Shania starts out on her journey after realizing that she has lost her voice and can no longer sing.

For the first time in her life she realizes that she can no longer run from her problems and suppress them. If she is going to go on and have the life she desires she must deal with them head on.

Over the next several weeks Shania opens the doors and gives viewers a glimpse not only of her life, but of all our lives.

How many of us have "stuff" from our pasts that we have been running from and suppressing? How many of us ignore what is going on and put up the front that everything is ok. That is until it all comes crashing down.

Sound familiar?

There are 2 central themes throughout this series. 1) When you start searching for answers they magically start appearing and 2) The fear of what we think is going to happen is always much worse than what actually happens.

What makes this series so powerful is here you have one of the most beautiful and talented women in the world. She will never have to worry about money or putting food on the table, even if she never sells another record or concert ticket.

But at the end of the day, she is just like you and me. She has the same fears and insecurities.

And here is where the good news comes in. Shania recently was remarried. No matter how much Shania had been hurt or screwed over, she was willing to give love another chance.
