Oscar Pistorius Abusive & On Steroids?

Yesterday, Oscar Leonard Carl Pistorius was a South African sprint runner. Today he is accused of murder on Valentine's Day.
The 26-year old athlete was reputedly in fear for his life. He had an arsenal of weapons to protect himself from intruders. The early reports of Pistorius mistaking his girlfriend for an intruder and that he accidentally shot Reeva Steenkamp have been denied by police. A bloody cricket bat recovered from Pistorius' home is further evidence of premeditation and possible abuse by the Olympian.

Neighbors reported hearing the couple argue earlier that day near Pistorius' home. It is thought now that 29 year-old Reeva Steenkamp ran to the bathroom after being shot once, where she was shot three more times through the bathroom door.
CNN reports Syringes and evidence of steroids have been removed from Pistorius' South African home. The use of anabolic steroids has been linked to many health problems including cancer, high blood pressure and even death. They raise testosterone in the body and can cause bouts of aggression uncontrolled anger, mood swings, paranoia and severe irritability.
Pistorius broke down and wept at his first court appearance on Friday after he was charged with the murder of model and reality TV show contestant Reeva Steenkamp. All of Oscar Pistorius' races have been cancelled so that he can focus on his defence.

Reeva's mother gave a tearful phone interview this morning. She wants answers. "In the blink of an eye, she is gone." June Steenkamp, Reeva Steenkamp's mother, told The Times in a front page interview published Monday: "Why? Why my little girl? Why did this happen? Why did he do this?"
Steenkamp is a law graduate and reality television star. According to her brother, Adam she was the one who held their family together and now she is gone.
